| Vitro recently signed an agreement with the Center for University Studies (CEU), a higher learning institution focusing on middle school, under graduate and post graduate levels of education, located in Monterrey, N.L. Through this agreement Vitro employees and immediate family members can pursue their higher education degrees for undergraduate and graduate levels at preferred tuition costs.
After announcing this program, Mr. Ramón Lara, President of the Board of Directors of Vitro Club, explained: "this new benefit forms part of the many initiatives undertaken by Vitro to be a leading corporate citizen for its employees, their immediate family members as well as the other corporate members of Vitro Club. The objective is to provide them with the opportunity and access to higher education at the middle, undergraduate and postgraduate levels at preferential tuition costs, thus enhancing their personal development and quality of life."
Ángel E. Cano, CEU's Chancellor, expressed his interest in supporting Vitro in this program as part of the dynamics of the institution, under his guidance, to encourage continuous improvement: "We stress integral development among our students as a means to strengthen their intellectual skills, strive for continuous personal improvement and polish their leadership skills."
